Multiply Youth Group visited the Christmas Caves this evening. Our group was small but everyone enjoyed the time walking through the caves and seeing the Authentic Biblical Record of the Christmas Story through the Crucifixion on the cross. Well worth the trip but make sure you wear suitable footwear as it was packed, all parking lots were full and a little muddy getting to the caves.

Second Advent Sunday Candles and Reading were given by Xander and Girlie Starcher of Christ Church’s 9:00 Contemporary Service.

Making Christmas Decorations with the children, prayer and fellowship were offered to the patrons of the Christmas Cheer from Yesteryear’s Celebration brought to you by Brown Funeral Home, while they waited for the trolley ride to Manpower Park. This was also in coordination with the Sidewalk Market an event organized by the Jackson Chamber of Commerce featuring the Cookie Walk on December 7th 2023. No pictures were available from this event.

Look who came to the manger to Worship the New Born King! Santa. Did you know Santa Claus -otherwise known as Saint Nicholas or Kris Kringle has a long history steeped in Christmas Tradition. In the 3rd century there lived a monk named St. Nicholas and he was admired for his piety and kindness. It was said he gave away all of his inherited wealth (Gifts) helping the sick and the poor.

Christmas in the Barn service on Dec 23, 2023
We had an attendance of approximately 50 – 60 people. We caravanned to the barn for this annual event which is designed to get us “back to the basics “ of that most Holy Night.
We had a good time of quiet devotion and carols at the barn and warm fellowship and refreshments at the church after our time at the barn.

As a culmination of their Leadership as Youth Leaders for Christ Church, Philip and Danielle Malone’s Multiply Youth Group joined with the Baptist Youth Group for a evening of worship and fellowship. Around 30 students began this adventure at the Baptist Church and afterwards came to our FLC for additional food, fellowship and games. Thanks You to Philip and Danielle for their many years of service to our youth.
