Christ Church of Jackson revisited their annual Baskets and Wreaths Celebration on Saturday, Nov 23, 2024. The Fellowship Team along with Sarah Harris, Paula Forshey, and the rest of the team pledged their support of our “Continuing the Vision Campaign” by donating all of their profits from this event to restore the restrooms in the Family Life Center. Work will begin on the Men’s Restroom soon and hopefully be finished by Christmas. The funds generate from the meal and Candy Land Sales amounted to $8,300.00. Thanks to everyone who helped to make this a success.

Thanksgiving to Go was distributed to our Shut Ins , the residents of the Cambrian, Warriors for Christ (W4C), and the Sheriff’s Office on the afternoon of Sunday, November 23rd 2024. This has become an annual event of Service to our Community as we share the Blessings of Thanksgiving with others. Our Youth Director, Ms. Jenna Waugh along with her Youth Group and members of our Missions Team prepared over 40 meals to be delivered throughout our community. Thanks to EVERYONE who gave up a few hours of their time to share the Blessings of a meal.

The decorating of Christ Church of Jackson began on Sunday November 24, 2024. The Family Life Center has become a winter wonderland of several Christmas Trees as well a Photo Opportunity for all to enjoy while families come together. The main sanctuary was also decorated by volunteers with Wreaths, Ribbons, Candles and the Traditional Chrismon Tree. All of these decorations are to be enjoyed by our members and the community as we come together on December 1, 2025 for a combined service in the sanctuary at 9:30.
