Christ Church of Jackson is so privileged to have so many New Members and Baptisms since we became a Global Methodist Church.
Pastor Tim has encouraged us to Walk in the Truth, and that Truth is Jesus Christ our Savior. There is but ONE WAY to the Father and that is through HIS Son who came to earth to take our Sins upon Himself. His Blood Washes Us as White as Snow and God has thrown our sins into the depths of the oceans when we ACCEPT Jesus as Our Savior. Celebrate with us those who have joined our church and received Baptism.
Please Welcome Avery Jenkins who was Baptized on April 14th, 2024. Congratulations to Joshua and Mandy Jenkins the proud parents. As a church we promise to stand by their side as their daughter is brought up in the Church ands support them as parents as they guide their daughter in a home of Christian Love. Praise God for children!
Another Membership Class for those possible interested in exploring joining Christ Church was held on Sunday, April 24, 2024 at 11:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Fifteen individuals attended the meeting and several have expressed a desire to become members. Look for these Celebrations during upcoming worship services at the 9:00 and 10:15 service times. Why not join us and Celebrate with us as we build on our DASH. Never heard of the DASH? The dash symbolizes the separation between the two dates on our tombstones. Help us make a difference with our dash to our community, church and world.
At our Wednesday Faith Contenders Bible Study (May 1, 2024) we CELEBRATED the addition of new members to Christ Church of Jackson. Pictured are Steve Lorbach, Tammy Lorbach, Donna Palmer and Pastor Tim.
Another CELEBRATION as Christ Church of Jackson took in another seven members as well as performed several baptisms on Sunday May 5th, 2024.
Join us in Welcoming, Daniel Starcher, his wife Girlie and their son Xander along with Theodore Starcher, Dan’s brother. John and Jenny Moore also transferred their membership to Christ Church and Christine Chaffin also became a member. Welcome to ALL!

Christ Church of Jackson had a combined Worship Service on September 1, 2024. The purpose was to join together in Unity and Celebrate several opportunities within the church, a NEW Portable Baptistry, six Baptisms, Communion, and a SPECIAL Opportunity to examine the many ministries that we offer at Christ Church. Over 162 persons from the church and community gathered together at 9:30 for these special events.
After the service worshipers were invited to examine the many Service Ministries and Groups (Tribes) that were on display, receive information about these ministries and if they desire Sign Up to be a part of our ministries. Refreshments were provided as people moved from table to table examining the different Tribes. Passports were also stamped as people visited each area and Prizes were drawn for those completing their passports.
Baptisms were held on Sunday September 22 at the 9:00 Contemporary service. This was a special Baptism as Pastor Tim was able to do a combined service for Bradley Sexton and his infant son Brady who just turned two weeks old. Family were present to witness this wonderful service of commitment to Christ.
Sunday November 24, 2024 Billy and Lynn Starkey had the honor of seeing their grandson Ellis Vinh Starkey baptized. Billy and Lynn are Ellis’s grandparents. Their son Nick and his wife and family were all present for this wonderous celebration!
We would like to Celebrate, with the Richard Thompson and Hunter (West) Thompson family the Dedication of their son Weston Wayne Thompson on December 15, 2024. Grandparents are Steve and Jennifer West as well as Uncle Walker West.
