Small Groups – “The Well” an opportunity for everyone of ALL ages to find a small group that aligns to YOUR need to dig deeper into God’s Word and learn how to apply it to our daily lives.

Wednesday evenings Pastor Tim offers a series of Bible Study’s under the Title, Truth Finders, Truth Seekers and presently Truth Contenders. They meet in the Fellowship Hall and utilize the Video Program Right Now Media along with insights from Pastor Tim, handouts, and reading assignments. Texts books are available but not mandatory. You will fit right in at every session regardless of whether you have attended any of the other previous lessons. Everyone, regardless of age, is Welcome to attend this Small Group on Wednesday’s from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Another small group is held on Wednesday nights in the Parlor from 6:00-7:00. This small group is co-hosted by Roger Trace, Jesse Reynolds and Taylor Stepp. Nursery Care is available for any of our Wednesday evening small groups.

This group is called the “Young Adult Small Group” who gather to discuss God’s Word. They have in depth discussions about applying the Word to our daily lives. Topics like distractions, understanding the Holy Spirit, and living by Faith are just a few of our discussions. Come join us on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. as we Grow Together as a Group, as a Church, and as a Community!!

Janie Karl has a group for those who are experiencing Grief and they have two different focuses on Grief Sharing as well as a Grief Group. Call the church office at 740 286 3419 for additional information on these groups meeting times and frequency.

Our Children’s/Youth Department’s have a variety of sessions available for children from K-5th grade as well as 6th grade through 12th grade.

Sunday School Grade K-5, as well as a a Nursery for children under Kindergarten, are held at 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning during our Traditional Worship Service in the sanctuary.

BLAST Kids (K-5th graders) meet during the 10:00-11:00 Contemporary Worship Service after the group singing. Through Drama, Bible Lessons, Singing, Crafts and sharing they learn about Jesus and how HE applies to their daily living experiences.

Multiply Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings in the Family Life Center (FLC) located on the top floor with games, Bible teaching, Service Projects and Fun Activities. Jenna Waugh our Youth Ministry Leader WELCOMES kids from 6th grade through 12th grade

Nancy’s Needle Workers is a group of men or women who would like to share a Saturday morning once a month doing a wide variety of needle crafts including Knitting, Crocheting, Needlepoint and Blanket Making for First Responders to have in case of a tragedy. This if Hosted by Peggy Foster and includes tips on How To Begin as well as a Short Bible Lesson and a Simple Lunch before they end for the day. If you have always wanted to learn a specific craft why not join them and pick up some tips from the young as well as the seasoned crafters.

The Men’s FREE Community Breakfast is held the first Saturday of every month in our Fellowship Hall from 8:30-10:00. A tasty breakfast is offered without any obligation followed by a Short Devotional by Larry Foster. Warrior’s 4 Christ (W4C) often attend and share their faith as we fellowship together. We are always finished by 10:00 but if you have an obligation or appointment don’t hesitate to JOIN US even if you need to leave early. Everyone from our Community is Welcome to attend.

Our PEACE GROUP normally meets twice a month and you can call in to this group if you are unable to attend. Just give Teresa the church secretary a call at 740 286 3419 for the times and frequency of the meetings.

Faith Trackers is a children’s Ministry held on Wednesday evening from 6;00-7:00 in our Children’s Ministry (basement floor) of the main building. Kathy McPherson is our Children’s Ministry Leader and splits her time between Sunday School on Sunday Morning and Wednesday evening Faith Trackers.

Other Areas that you might find appealing in your Walk with Christ

Men’s Booth Camp Sunday School is for men who wish to learn how to be a real man in today’s society where we are often thought of as weak or simple minded. Men are called into accountability for their family and a positive Witness to EACH OTHER our children in our church and through activities we share together. This call meets every Sunday morning at 9:00 -10:00 in Room 202 down the hall from the church office. presently they are using the FREE to our members Right Now Media to accent their discussion. Dave Sample is the leader. This Men’s Group also is a part of the Heavenly Helpers and share a meal ministry with W4C on a regular basis.

Another Adult Sunday School Class is held by Randy and Kathy Adams in the Parlor at the back of the sanctuary at 10:00-11:00 following the Traditional Worship Service. They are presently going through the Bible in IN-Depth Studies and welcome all new comers.

Our Traveling Prayer Team meets the last Saturday led by Janie Karl to visit various churches, organizations, houses, schools or community centers to take 15 minutes to PRAY for them. Prayers are voluntary and not required
