One of the traditional activities of Christ Church of Jackson is on December 23, every year. It is “Christmas In A Barn” conducted by Larry and Peggy Foster. During this time of the year we feel it is meaningful for Children and their families to experience the Real Meaning of Christmas. Not the Christmas Gifts, Parties and Dinners but the TRUE Christmas Story which came to earth over 2000 years ago in the form of the baby Jesus. During this time of sharing the evening with the animals in a barn as we experience what it might have been like so many years ago. Part of the evening is to experience the Christmas Story as told through the Scriptures and Holy Hymns of our Savior’s Birth as well as that of the Shepherds and Wise Men. After the visit to the barn everyone was invited back to the church for refreshments and fellowship. Merry Christmas Everyone!
